Managed to get a few photos from the gig and some short movies.
Didn't take us long to get there on the night, but had a full day in
brimingham waiting around. didn't realise near the station we were
right near the gay area of birmingham, which was a rather rough area,
but at the same time the few people we met were lovely. Ended up going
into a locals pub and attempting some cheesy karaoke! bit of a
difference to the excitement of the gig, but still amusing.
A few did look at us strange though!
stayed in ibis hotel, which I must say has the most "icky"
energy any place could have, including the area itself,
horrid little spirit things were everywhere, but we cleansed
them near the pagoda near the roundabout. also had to
change the room as whoever there before us must have
being up to something. found some stains on our bed
which was completely vile. *eww.
thankfully got a better room the next time around, but glad
to be out of the city. But the gig was brilliant, they had
some crazy pyrotechnics and sung to the top of their voices.
Also they did at least 6 songs on their encore all top quality.
the stage was quite away from where we were sitting, but it
didn't stop us seeing the special fx, and when one of the
members decided to blow up a rubber boat to crowd surf,
it was a brilliant and crazy sight!
Absolubtly top marks for the gig and the lovely boys
of rammstein. bless there ickle german sausages! :)
Popped to sheffield to go to corporation and
nelsons again the day after and got thrown out for
over-staying in the hotel due to mass hangovers! *hic.
Also trying to do something productive with me life.
Apparently another certificate has come through the
post at me old folks house, and I am in the process
of attempting to get a driving licence. Only trouble
is I cannot decide what to go for.
Stuck with a few options:-
1. Hertz - cliche and amusing, also useful if
I ever wanted to take people to gigs/another city
for a night out.
Pros: plenty of beer space and people space.
Cons: A B****** to park no doubt at whitby.
2. Harley sportster - I've always loved motorbikes
since I was a small child, especially harleys.
Would be the advantage of going to gigs with other
fellow bikers and the joy of customising my own machine.
Pros: I love bikes! The freedom you get and the
feeling of the wind on you as you skip through
those damn traffic queues!
Cons: I am still a small child. this limits me to
what bike to get, as well as one other small detail
THE F*****G SKY HIGH INSURANCE! AAAAhhhh.
3. A van/car = Like the idea of something like a roadster,
once again beer and people space and useful for
transporting furniture, also sleeping place if
there is nowhere to stay for the night.
Pros: large and spacious, can fit in a variety
of things and you can sleep in it if you cannot
find anywhere to stay (eg whitby. again!)
Cons: erm. rather large to park, risk of robbery?
Oh well, if anyone out there also has modes of
transport please let me know what sounds like
the best idea.
Decided on this as since my past is still bothering people
most pefer to suttley ignore me for events, just because
of another "party" being there.Fair enough on the worry of
tension now. but for fecks sake I'm now married. and was
around before the "others". Have called people and there
is a few looking to meet up for a drinkie, my kind
sentements to you, will try to get something planned for
the weekend if no one's buisy. please drop us a line
and tell us what you're up to. :) danke.
Please don't let it be a one off though, if people
are meeting somewhere I want you to know I pose
no threat, but we are all meant to be neutral. right?
Why should a few people affect everyone so damn much.
can't we all just
get P***ed??!
Note: sheffield is a far less bitchy city.
Cute and practical. I'm only small and I can touch
the ground and hold one up!:-

Niice.

Think I got carried away a little there, but it's so hard to decide!
Then they're's the scary insurance, but it's worth paying for if
it means I can get around to almost anywhere when the mood takes me. marvellous!

Lovely images, though. That is, when they eventually loaded.
